Today is the start of a fresh new adventure. Can’t wait to see both familiar and unfamiliar faces throughout this journey. Nothing but a blank and open book.
The Amtrak ticket has been bought and everything is in motion. I only have a week and a half left of work which puts a smile on my face. I wish this adventure could be more by the seat of my pants but as I always tend to do; pack in as much as I can. I am bound by a schedule but rewarded by all the familiar faces of loved ones from past and present. I am blessed to be in a position to walk away from work and figure out what will make me sustainably happy. I am hoping for big dreams on this trip and for even bigger realities when I get back. Life is TBD!

Last Thursday I finished 212 miles (230 miles total for us) of the JMT. With that came some decisions which made me resign, today, from my job as a Senior Product Development Engineer. Now…… my life begins.
